The procedure concerning the amendments of the Transit Manual concerning the use of an electronic transport document as a transit declaration (ETD) has been finalised and the text can be regarded as approved.
The guidance was made on the basis of the comments received from trade associations, Member States’ administrations and other Contracting Parties to the common transit Convention.
The English version of the amendment1 of the Transit Manual has been published on TAXUD’s website. Translations in all EU official languages will follow in February 2018.
